I need to do the first 50 hours servicing on my Kubota L3130 tractor, but I'm not sure what type of transmission it has in it. It is not listed in my owners manual. I went on the internet and they list three different types of transmissions it could possibly have. How to I find out which type it is?

If you have a single small lever that slides through 1st to 8th gear, you have a "GST" type transmission, if you have a lever marked "H, M, L" and you have to push a rocker pedal to make the tractor move, you have a hydrostatic type, and if you have a regular stick-shift between your knees it's a manual transmission.

Inb every instance be sure to use the correct type of fluid (or a stated equal) for the type of trans. you have, in most cases the wrong stufff will be very noticeable, and may in fact cause damage.

Best of luck. ....

If I remember correctly there is no shifter between your knees on the 3130 manual transmission.
The shifter for the manual (FST) transmission on the 3130 should be up along side the operators seat, with High/low range and 4 gears in each range. ....
